CHRISTMAS EVE!

Arrive on the 24th December and check into your room from 2pm. Then join us for a welcome afternoon tea by the roaring log fire in the Melville Bar. Here you can discuss with us your preferred dining times for your festive break if you have not already done so or take this opportunity to meet your fellow guests.

Alternatively you may wish to just rest in the comfort of your hotel room or use the gymnasium & indoor pool, jacuzzi & sauna to relax & unwind before dinner (robes are provided in your room, just bring your costume).

Mulled wine and cocktails will be served from 7pm in the Melville Bar and Pink Lounge before dinner. Dinner will be served in the elegant Lakeside Restaurant. The theme for your evening is the annual meeting of the Ghost Hunters Club. Mike Taylor, the club secretary, will be here tonight, along with his wife Natalie. Things might not go bump in the night quite as they are expected to. The club was founded by Mike Taylor 10 years ago after he had a paranormal experience. Mike arranges field trips to haunted houses and locations all throughout the year. Tonight is a celebration of 6 years to the day the club was formed.

Sir Colin Hicks will be here also, as no doubt will all the other club members, Sir Colin has organised a competition. The best will win a small prize. “Who’s ghost would you like to see? And why.” Simply jot down your answer on a small piece of paper provided by us and a prize will be awarded for the best funniest or cleverest answer.

Anita Parker, The clubs social secretary, has suggested that you might want to turn up in fancy dress. So you might want to turn up as a Ghost. Don’t go to the trouble of hiring costumes, just see what you can do with a bit of makeup and what’s already in your wardrobe.

If you prefer, however, to enjoy the evening in a less dramatic way just sit back and relax, be assured we can promise you excellent fare and lively entertainment.

For those of you, who are attending as dedicated investigators, remember, this is not a time for that true British reserve. Do not be frightened or delicate about asking those awkward questions. All the cast have a story to unfold and they cannot do it without you.

Murder International

This intriguingly fun Ball will raise money for Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.

The event will commence 7pm and a delicious three course meal will be served in the Churchill Suite at 7.30pm.

The story line is as follows

The Boudin Noir Theatre Company was formed by Madame Candice Dupree ten years ago and you have been invited to support them as they announce a new play.
