2015 is set to be a big year for Lincoln starting with the reopening of Lincoln Castle in April following a £22 million development. After four years of renovation, the Castle’s dramatic restoration will see the landmark open in time for the Anniversary of the sealing of the famous charter, the Magna Carta. 2015 is Magna Carta’s 800th anniversary since it’s signing and Lincoln will be celebrating, with its own original copy of the charter, throughout the year.
