Branston Hall awarded again
For the AA 2008 Good Food Guide we are delighted to have been awarded a second Rosette for Food Quality.
We are currently
the only Hotel in the Lincolnshire area to achieve this recognition. This is a
wonderful achievement for Head Chef Miles Collins and all his Team.
The AA describes the Lakeside restaurant at Branston Hall Hotel as follows:
Smart and imposing country house, brimful of Victorian splendour and set in attractive grounds complete with a lake. The elegant Lakeside Restaurant comes suitably decked out with chandeliers, paintings, Italian-style chairs and plenty of original features. The ambitious carte and fixed-price menus take a distinctly modern approach, the kitchen not afraid to use flavours and influences from around the globe. Fine regional produce, imagination, culinary skill and careful service all come together in style. Start with carpaccio of venison with spiced figs and Perigord goat's cheese, then continue with herb-crusted beef fillet, wild mushrooms, glazed shallots and Madeira sauce.
